An Italian September retro wedding
-Invitations, on recycled paper, were a classy simple post-card, and all the details of the wedding were grouped on a fabulous website, including the RSVP
-Instead of floral compositions, we mainly used flowered plants and branches. Some were rented, some were shared with another wedding in the afternoon, and some were gifted to guests!
-Flowers and plants were chosen at the local flower's market.
-All decorations and center tables came from the bride's attic: a bit of creativity, a lot of dusting, et voila!
-All vendors were local and used local produce.
-The lavander for the party favors, raw cotton lavender sachets, was locally grown
-Bride and groom wore borrowed accessories, and recycled gold wedding bands.
A rustic barn engagement party
-Location: a romantic wood barn surrounded with nothing but woods
-Invitations were emailed
-Floral decorations were picked in the woods: branches, autumn leaves, weeds, and tiny apples!
-Vases and candle holders were borrowed from a theatre the bride-to-be was working at
-Ribbons and decorations all came from a box of craft scraps that was hidden in the attic
-Accessories were purchased at a consignment store
